Horseback Riding in Fiji

One great land activity that is also a wonderful way to explore Fiji is horseback riding. There is nothing like the relaxed and serene feeling you get from exploring the gorgeous Fijian nature on the back of a horse. No matter what your level of experience, a guide will be able to pick out the right horse for you.

There are a number of resorts and tours in Fiji that offer horseback riding. However, you should check with your resort or tour to see if there are any age limits, height, or weight restrictions. It is also recommended that you wear long pants and close-toed shoes when riding.

Yasawas

The Turtle Island resort on beautiful Turtle Island located in the Yasawa group and near Nadi, offers excellent horseback riding, which is actually included with your stay. You can choose from a variety of saddles to ensure that you have a comfortable ride. A horseman will show you the trails and numerous tropical beaches, as well as other areas of the island. Usually rides on the island will begin just before dawn, when you can take in the lovely tropical sunrise.

Viti Levu
